About The Position

Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean areas while providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. They help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, address customer needs, and complete register transactions. Cashiers may perform different duties based on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No experience is required; training is provided. The role may include cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. Team members must be able to move and lift more than 25 pounds and work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions and balance the cash register while offering additional sales opportunities and following state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Perform other duties as needed and potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
