About The Position

The Retail Customer Experience Coordinator is responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience at the front of the store. The role oversees Associates to ensure prompt, courteous customer service and promote loyalty programs. The Coordinator leads by example through customer engagement, role-modeling outstanding service, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The position also supports store priorities, Associate training, safety, and shrink reduction.

Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
• Able to multitask.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Able to respond appropriately to changing directions or unexpected situations.
• Able to work effectively with peers and supervisors as a team player.
• Able to train others.
• One year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive internal and external customer experience and promote honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Train, mentor, and coach Associates on front-end principles, personalizing customer interactions, and promoting loyalty programs.
• Assign registers, respond to point-of-sale coverage needs, and coordinate Associate breaks.
• Address customer concerns and issues promptly.
• Ensure Associates complete tasks according to the store plan and reprioritize as needed.
• Communicate priorities and progress accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Partner with management to identify Associate training needs and improve effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized store.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
