About The Position
As a Retail Coverage Merchandiser II at Acosta, you’ll help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by driving product availability and carrying out retail merchandising activities. You’ll work across product categories, independently representing Acosta and its clients at assigned Walmart stores while building relationships with store associates and managers. The role involves locating and stocking merchandise, improving shelf presentation, setting up promotional materials and displays, documenting completed work, and communicating with your manager and team. Training and certification are provided. Scheduled work is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Access to reliable transportation to travel between multiple retail locations in the area.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete work within provided timeframes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with store associates, managers, and Acosta team members.
- Ability to use a company-issued mobile device and Acosta field technology.
Responsibilities
- Locate merchandise in Walmart backrooms and move it to the sales floor.
- Stock and pack out products, routinely lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Front-face products to improve shelf presentation.
- Receive marketing and promotional materials at home and bring them to the store.
- Install and place promotional materials according to instructions.
- Build displays to showcase client products as needed.
- Answer step-by-step questions in Acosta’s field technology using a company-issued mobile device.
- Take photos of completed work and report work on the same day it is completed.
- Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
- Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete the work.
- Communicate and collaborate with the direct manager via email, phone, and text.
- Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
- Provide accurate, concise data and photos according to instructions.
- Contact the direct manager for help with in-store challenges and share best practices with the Walmart team.
