About The Position

The Retail Channel Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the Companys Big-Box Retail sales and marketing plan, managing and developing strategic relationships with channel partners, analyzing sales data and market trends, and communicating with internal teams and external stakeholders. The Retail Channel Manager owns the product development roadmap from inception to delivery, to include the marketing and sales functional areas. They are responsible for performing research and providing insights regarding the market, trends, competitors, potential and existing customers, and current campaign strategies.

Requirements

  • Analytical Skills including sales data and market trend analysis
  • Excellent Communication skills both written and oral
  • Sales experience in B2B environments and channel management
  • Experience managing relationships with Channel Partners
  • Team Management experience
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • 7+ years experience in a sales role
  • 2+ years experience in a management role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, pool and spa, MHRV or OEM channels is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Creates an overall sales vision for assigned accounts and implements steps to achieve strategic sales goals
  • Prepares marketing and sales projection reports and budgets
  • Perform market research and complex analysis of possible opportunities
  • Complete brand perceptions and reputations
  • Evaluate market penetration
  • Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
  • Analyze competitors
  • Communicate with leadership inside and outside the department on roadmap deliverables, product stability and performance metrics
  • Execute on assigned operating plan and targets to assure that the business wins profitable sales
