Retail Cashier Part Time
About The Position
Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, keeping work areas clean while providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. They help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, address customer needs, process transactions, and offer additional sales opportunities while following applicable state and local laws. Cashiers use a variety of methods and technology to help maintain food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products. Duties may vary according to business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No experience is required; training is provided. Team members may also cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, or leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25 or more pounds.

Responsibilities
- Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
- Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
- Use methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Clean the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
