Retail Cashier Part Time
About The Position
Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean spaces while providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. They help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, address customer needs, and process transactions. Cashiers may perform different duties based on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role includes maintaining food safety for fresh food and deli products, cleaning assigned work areas and other store spaces, and potentially cross-training in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. The position requires the ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds and work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities
- Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
- Complete customer transactions and balance the cash register while following state and local laws.
- Offer additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
