About The Position

Love’s Retail Cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, keeping work areas clean and providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Duties may vary according to business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Cashiers may also cross-train in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Requirements

• Flexibility and teamwork skills.
• Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use methods and technology to maintain appropriate food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
