About The Position

Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service while helping maintain clean facilities. Duties may vary with business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role may involve cross-training in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. The position requires the ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds and work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to maintain proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
