About The Position

Love’s retail cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, keep their work areas clean, and provide customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Duties may vary according to business needs, making flexibility and teamwork important. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The position may include cross-training in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Requirements

• Ability to provide friendly, accurate customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and teamwork skills.
• Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions, balance a cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use various methods and technology to maintain proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
