Part- Time Retail Associate
About The Position
The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates help uphold a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and support store safety and shrink-reduction goals. The position is at Marshalls Store 1668 in Dubuque, Iowa, with a starting pay range of USD $13.25 to $13.75 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and modeling established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect with internal and external customers.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
