About The Position
The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes providing customer service, processing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing and merchandising goods for the sales floor, and maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards. The associate supports a positive store culture, safety awareness, and shrink-reduction efforts, and follows applicable labor laws, policies, and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience.
- Role-model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the company's merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.
