About The Position

Goodwill Southern California is hiring Retail Associates to support its mission of Transforming Lives Through the Power of Work. The role helps create a welcoming and organized shopping and donation experience, keeps stores running efficiently, and supports community programs. Retail Associates provide customer and donor service, process transactions and donations, sort and merchandise donated goods, maintain work areas, and support daily store goals. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The hourly rate is 18.47.

Requirements

• Ability to read, speak, and write basic English.
• Comfort using point-of-sale and basic computer systems.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated to support a team environment.

• Some retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and positive service to customers and donors.
• Operate cash registers, accurately process transactions, and handle donations with care.
• Sort, price, and merchandise donated goods according to company standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Support daily store operations and contribute to sales and production goals.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
