About The Position

Abby Road, Arkansas' No. 1 Vape Shop, is hiring an experienced Vape Shop Associate for its Maumelle location. This is a full-time position with expected hours of 40–42 per week. Shift lengths may vary, and overtime is often available. Advancement opportunities are available for strong performance and providing customers with a positive shopping experience. The associate helps customers choose products, provides accurate product information, processes purchases and returns, and performs store opening, closing, merchandising, stocking, and cleaning duties. The ideal candidate is self-starting, motivated, punctual, engaged, friendly, and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Open availability Monday through Sunday.
Retail experience.
Knowledge of vape and smoke shop products.
Friendly and outgoing personality.
Neat, clean appearance suitable for a retail environment.
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to solve problems as they arise.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and during downtime.

Responsibilities

Open and close the store.
Maintain scheduling commitments.
Greet customers and offer assistance.
Ask customers questions and show them products to assist with purchases.
Educate customers by providing accurate information about products.
Total purchases and correctly process cash, credit card, and store gift card payments.
Use good judgment to resolve customer service and product issues and process returns.
Merchandise and stock products, and clean the store.
