About The Position

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc. is hiring a Retail Associate – Processor for its Carrollton retail store. The role processes and sorts donated goods, stocks and rotates merchandise, identifies quality donations, and ensures donations are priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor promptly. The associate is expected to meet production goals based on the quality and quantity of donations and may work in other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team. Although hired as a processor, the associate will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work in all areas of the retail operation.

This part-time position averages 20–25 hours per week, with hours fluctuating according to business needs, seasonal changes, and donation volumes. Operating days vary by store location. The associate must be available to work any shift Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Average math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Availability to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a retail or customer service-related environment.
• Warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and sort donated goods rapidly and accurately.
• Stock store shelves neatly and orderly.
• Rotate merchandise using a color-coded system.
• Identify quality donations.
• Ensure donations are priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Meet production goals and outcomes based on the quality and quantity of donations.
• Work in other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.
• Learn and work in all areas of the retail operation after cross-training.
