About The Position

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for processing apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods through stocking on the sales floor and in receiving. The role processes and replenishes merchandise in accordance with visual merchandising and MPS standards, using the inventory management system. It also supports backroom organization, truck unloading, pricing and signage, and customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use company computer systems and devices, including System Two, RF/Gizmo devices, and the Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information, including plan-o-grams, visual guides, and merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reports to organize merchandise for filling the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.
• Ability to regularly walk, stand, and perform computer work, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel merchandise when received, following Visual Merchandising and MPS standards and using the inventory management system.
• Replenish merchandise on the sales floor as required by Visual Merchandising standards, using the inventory management system.
• Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales to support backroom organization and replenishment.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Assist with merchandise pricing maintenance and signage.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Keep backstock merchandise organized and accessible.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
