About The Position

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is hiring a part-time Retail Associate – Processor for its Carrollton, Georgia retail store. The role processes, sorts, prices, and transports donated goods to the sales floor and stocks and rotates merchandise. The employee will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work in all areas of the retail operation. The position averages 20–25 hours per week, with hours fluctuating according to business needs, seasonal changes, and donation volumes. Operating days vary by store location, and the employee must be available to work any shift Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Average math skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be available to work any shift Monday through Sunday.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a retail or customer service-related environment.
Warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

Process and sort donated goods rapidly and accurately.
Stock store shelves neatly and orderly.
Rotate merchandise using a color-coded system.
Identify quality donations and ensure donations are priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor in a timely manner.
Meet production goals and outcomes based on the quality and quantity of donations.
Work in other store areas as requested by the leadership team.
Learn and work in all areas of the retail operation through cross-training.
