Restoration Technician
About The Position
ServiceMaster DSI is the largest ServiceMaster franchise in the world and provides restoration services in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and surrounding areas. Job assignments may include specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack-ins, and content cleaning. The Restoration Technician drives a company vehicle to customer-designated locations and develops proficiency in fire and water restoration and mold abatement. The technician responds to water jobs and initiates water mitigation in accordance with IICRC and ServiceMaster standards. Work must meet or exceed applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and customer quality standards, while providing world-class customer service. The role involves working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions. ServiceMaster DSI provides PPE and other safety tools and resources. The position offers overtime opportunities, a starting rate of $18.00 per hour that is negotiable based on experience, insurance benefits, a company-provided cell phone for job management, regular training, and promotion and career advancement opportunities.
Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel out of town.
- Ability to move and/or lift 50 pounds or more.
- Must pass a drug and background check.
- Previous restoration experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers.
- Become proficient in fire and water restoration and mold abatement.
- Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC and ServiceMaster standards.
- Perform assigned restoration work to meet or exceed applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company and customer quality standards.
- Provide world-class customer service.
- Work in indoor and outdoor conditions while following safety practices and using provided PPE and safety resources.
