About The Position

SERVPRO of Chesterfield, Richmond, Chesapeake, and Hampton is hiring a Restoration Technician for its Chesterfield office. This locally owned, family-run restoration business provides fire and water damage restoration services and emphasizes a close-knit, team-oriented environment, career development, and helping customers through difficult situations. The Restoration Technician supports property damage restoration projects by preparing work areas, setting up equipment, carrying out production processes, communicating with management and other technicians, and cleaning up jobsites. Compensation is $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly and, occasionally, up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
Ability to work with or around cleaning agents.
Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.

Responsibilities

Prepare rooms and areas for work activities.
Set up staging areas and equipment for each project.
Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
Perform production processes as directed.
Complete end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.
Leave the jobsite clean and orderly.
