Restoration Technician- $500 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
SERVPRO of Belle Meade/West Nashville is hiring Restoration Technicians to help homes and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, and storm damage. Technicians respond to emergencies and perform hands-on cleanup and restoration work. The role is suited to candidates with relevant experience or those willing to learn a new trade; paid IICRC training and certifications are provided, along with a career path toward Lead Technician and Supervisor roles. Compensation is $19–$21 per hour, based on experience, with bi-weekly pay and overtime opportunities. The position offers full benefits, uniforms and personal protective equipment, and a $500 sign-on bonus payable after 90 days of active employment, provided the employee is in good standing at the time of payment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old to drive company vehicles.
- Comfortable with physical work, tight spaces, ladders, and lifting more than 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work on-call shifts, including a rotation with some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in construction, handyman work, restoration, air duct cleaning, HVAC cleaning, or indoor air quality services.
- IICRC certification; it is a bonus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Respond quickly to water, fire, mold, and storm damage emergencies.
- Perform restoration services, including water extraction, demolition, equipment setup, and site cleanup.
- Load and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in company vehicles.
- Identify safety hazards and communicate needs to a supervisor.
- Work respectfully and professionally in customers’ homes and businesses.
- Support job documentation through notes, photos, and communication.
