Restoration and Repair Technician/Cabinet Painter
About The Position
Miracle Method Surface Refinishing is hiring Restoration & Repair Technicians for surface refinishing, cabinet painting, and cabinet refacing in residential and commercial settings. This full-time skilled trade position offers paid training, weekly pay, and eligibility for weekly performance bonuses. Experience is preferred but not required, and motivated candidates are encouraged to apply. Technicians perform hands-on restoration and repair work in homes, apartments, hotels, senior living facilities, healthcare settings, and other commercial facilities. Work includes refinishing bathtubs, showers, tile, countertops, and bathroom surfaces, as well as cabinet painting, refinishing, and refacing. The position uses professional spray-painting and coating equipment and requires surface preparation, repairs, and upkeep of tools, equipment, and company vehicles. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday on the first shift, with flexibility needed for occasional weekends and overtime. Optional travel is available for select commercial projects and may involve multi-day or out-of-town assignments. Where applicable, the company pays travel time, lodging, and expenses; travel assignments may offer additional earning opportunities. The work is indoor and hands-on. Pay includes up to $24.00 per hour during training, competitive base pay after training, commission options, weekly performance bonuses, and a take-home company vehicle with paid fuel.
Requirements
- Be willing to learn and follow established systems.
- Have strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Be reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
- Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in cabinet painting or cabinet refinishing.

Responsibilities
- Refinish bathtubs, showers, tile, countertops, and bathroom surfaces.
- Paint, refinish, and reface kitchen cabinets.
- Apply spray paint and coatings using professional equipment.
- Prepare surfaces through masking, sanding, cleaning, patching, and repairs.
- Perform restoration and repair work in residential and commercial settings.
- Maintain Miracle Method quality standards and care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
