About The Position

Miss J's Cafe is hiring Cashiers and Cooks to support its dining locations. Team members are part of the kitchen staff and work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team to prepare quality food and deliver an exceptional dining experience. Walk-in interviews are welcome weekdays from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. at the travel center located at 12613 Gunderson Road, Osseo, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work well with others in a high-pressure environment.
• Attention to food quality and presentation standards.
• Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cooking experience is preferred; motivated individuals without experience may be trained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
• Monitor food stock and assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to provide timely, efficient service during busy periods.
• Participate in menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements.
