About The Position

LV Petroleum is hiring Restaurant Team Members to work at Miss J's Cafe and Sbarro in its travel center in Savanna, Oklahoma. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, controlling food costs, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Team members take and fulfill food and beverage orders, prepare menu items, operate kitchen equipment, handle payments, maintain inventory, and work with colleagues on daily café operations. They follow food safety, sanitation, company, and customer service policies and participate in training.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take and enter orders accurately, help customers choose menu items, and provide prompt, high-quality service.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when needed.
• Prepare food and beverages, including sandwiches, salads, soups, and other menu items, according to café standards.
• Operate grills, ovens, blenders, and toasters safely and efficiently.
• Store and organize food properly and ensure items are fresh, portioned correctly, and meet quality standards.
• Keep dining, kitchen, and food preparation areas clean, organized, and sanitized; clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and restrooms.
• Follow food safety, handwashing, food handling, cleaning, and other health and safety guidelines.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, provide change and receipts, and follow procedures to balance the cash drawer.
• Help maintain inventory, restock supplies, report low stock, and assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
• Work cooperatively with team members and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and restocking.
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a professional demeanor, contribute to a positive work environment, and participate in training.
