About The Position

LV Petroleum is hiring a Shift Lead for Miss J's Cafe, located inside its travel center. The Shift Lead supports daily restaurant operations, coaches team members, and helps ensure guests receive fast, friendly, and accurate service. The role is suited to a strong leader who thrives in a high-energy environment, leads by example, and is passionate about excellent customer experiences.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure guests receive outstanding customer service and accurate orders.
• Help maintain restaurant standards for food quality, speed, and cleanliness.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and shift operations.
• Train and coach team members on company procedures and service expectations.
• Delegate tasks and help maintain productivity during busy periods.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
• Help maintain inventory, stocking, and overall restaurant organization.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Support management with daily operational goals and team development.
