Restaurant Team Member Part Time
About The Position
Restaurant Team Members provide friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. They take food orders, answer questions about menu offerings, process payments, and prepare customer orders at kitchen stations. They also maintain a clean and sanitized work area and use food-safety methods and technologies to ensure customers receive fresh, safe food. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Team members may have opportunities to cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Take customer food orders, answer questions about menu offerings, and address customer needs.
- Balance a cash register and offer additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Accurately and safely prepare customer orders at kitchen stations, such as the sandwich line, fry station, or grill station, depending on the restaurant concept.
- Use methods and technologies to maintain food-safety conditions and provide fresh, safe products.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
- Potentially cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
