About The Position
Restaurant Team Members at Love’s provide efficient, friendly customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. They take food orders, answer questions about menu offerings, address customer needs, process payments, and prepare customer orders safely at kitchen stations. The role also involves maintaining a clean and sanitized work area and using food-safety methods and technologies to ensure fresh, safe products. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Team members may also cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25 pounds or more.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service, take food orders, answer questions about menu offerings, and address customer needs.
- Balance a cash register and offer additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Accurately and safely prepare customer orders at kitchen stations such as sandwich-making, fry, or grill stations, depending on the restaurant concept.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
- Use methods and technologies to ensure proper food-safety conditions and deliver fresh, safe products.
- Potentially cross-train in Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
