About The Position

Goldminer's Daughter Lodge is hiring a Winter Seasonal Dining Room Server at the base of Alta Ski Area for the 2026–27 season, from November 30, 2026 through April 3, 2027. The role pays $15.00 per hour plus tips, with an average of 35–40 hours per week. Servers manage tables, learn the menu, and provide thoughtful service to create a welcoming guest experience in a busy dining room. The crew is described as fun and hardworking, and ski-in, ski-out access is available outside the lodge doors.

On-site housing is available for most full-time seasonal employees. Room and board costs $25 per person per day and includes three meals, WiFi, a ski-bus pass, access to a fitness room, hot tub, and sauna, plus an Alta or Snowbird ski pass or a $1,472.18 end-of-season payout. First-year full-time employees who want to ski pay a $200 deposit; returning employees do not. Off-site employees receive two meals per day worked and the same amenities and pass or payout options. Discounts are available at Motherlode Powder House and Outdoor Prolink. The employer is unable to sponsor H2B visa applicants.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong customer-service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

• Previous serving or comparable hospitality experience.
