About The Position
The Restaurant Server provides full-service dining and is expected to be self-motivated and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. The server should be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the restaurant’s menu and products, make appropriate suggestions to customers, and support other restaurant areas as requested. The role is seasonal at Bazille in Palo Alto.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule.
- A food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
Responsibilities
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the restaurant's menu and products while serving customers.
- Suggest additional items to customers, as appropriate.
- Support other areas of the restaurant as requested, such as answering telephones and completing financial transactions.
