About The Position

Eataly is hiring restaurant professionals for its Downtown location. The open-call hiring event covers a range of positions, including Cheesemonger, Seasonal Table Support, Line Cook, Prep Cook, Seasonal Prep Cook, Barista, Quick Service (QSR) Sales Associate, Bread Baker, Host, Bakery Lead, and Floor Manager. Candidates should bring a resume and have a passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for quality food, beverage, and service.

The open call is Wednesday, October 28, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Eataly Downtown, 101 Liberty Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10007. The marketplace is on the top floor of the Westfield Mall; attendees should take the escalator to the top floor and check in at the Guest Relations Desk to the right of the entrance.

Eataly is an artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace where guests can eat at restaurants, cafés, and to-go counters; shop for high-quality Italian, local, and homemade products; and learn through classes and team product knowledge. The location includes full-service restaurants, cafés, to-go eateries, fresh counters, a grocery market with more than 10,000 products, and a cooking school.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for quality food, beverage, and service.
• Bring a resume to the open call.
