About The Position

The Restaurant Operations Manager supports the company’s You First culture and core values while overseeing daily restaurant operations. The role works to maintain high standards, achieve sales and traffic goals, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and ensure recipes and food-safety practices are followed. The manager responds to customer and employee concerns, addresses maintenance issues, recruits and develops team members, protects company assets, and completes administrative and financial duties. The position offers one shift with no night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support the You First culture and core values.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure they run according to plan and meet high standards.
• Ensure recipes are followed and reinforce the company’s food standards.
• Understand restaurant sales and traffic goals and work to exceed them.
• Coach and observe team members in implementing the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table.
• Put the company’s 10 Commandments into action.
• Respond urgently to customer and employee concerns.
• Take immediate ownership of repair and maintenance issues and communicate them.
• Maintain food-safety certification and identify and coach safe food-handling practices.
• Scout and interview candidates for the team.
• Keep company assets secure, including computers, point-of-sale systems, security systems, and equipment.
• Understand the key responsibilities of every restaurant position.
• Stop inappropriate behavior immediately and investigate as needed.
• Train, coach, and develop team members daily.
• Recognize outstanding performance.
• Account for daily revenues and deposits.
• Complete administrative duties and submit required paperwork on time.
