Restaurant Operations Manager
About The Position
The Restaurant Operations Manager provides overall leadership, supervision, and direction on strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results and exceed the guest experience. This role oversees all aspects of the business, from minor details to the big picture, in a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment. The manager leads and develops hourly team members, helps create memorable guest experiences, and collaborates with the management team to achieve high-quality, timely results. The position involves working an average of 50 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and holidays, in a fast-paced and noisy environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- At least 2 years of restaurant or hospitality experience.
- Proficiency in managing cost of goods sold and labor.
- Ability to lead a team in creating memorable guest experiences.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions.
- Ability to handle busy 100K days while walking five miles per shift and working an average of 50-hour weeks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead hourly team members to exceed guests’ expectations.
- Demonstrate proactive leadership by ensuring positive staff and guest experiences through personal interactions.
- Interact with guest-service-focused team members on recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, and ongoing professional development.
- Live the company’s core values and lead others to do so.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve high-quality and timely results.
- Oversee business operations, including cost of goods sold and labor management.
