About The Position
The Restaurant Operating Partner (ROP) is the leader and business manager of a Freddy’s restaurant, responsible for coaching and developing team members and managers while overseeing the restaurant’s operational and financial performance, including finances, labor, and hospitality. The ROP hires, trains, and develops employees who share Freddy’s and JRI Hospitality’s commitment to great food, exceptional hospitality, cleanliness, and safety. The role sets the tone for the restaurant and is accountable for business success and creating a positive workplace. Successful ROPs work toward key performance indicators including sales, guest count, profitability, hospitality, safety and cleanliness, food costs, and labor costs. JRI Hospitality owns and operates more than 80 restaurants in 11 states, including Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. The role offers support from a Regional Director and the JRI Support Center.
Requirements
- Prior restaurant and/or hospitality management experience.
- Hospitality focus and strong communication skills.
- Ability to build a team and mentor team members to support their success.
- Ability to work a variety of hours, including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Lead the restaurant and take operational and financial responsibility for its performance.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members and managers.
- Hire, train, and develop team members who reflect the company’s culture and service commitments.
- Drive performance against KPIs such as sales, guest count, profitability, hospitality, safety, cleanliness, food costs, and labor costs.
- Set a positive tone and help create a successful restaurant where team members enjoy working.
