About The Position

This role is designed for a proven hospitality leader who wants real ownership-level responsibility and decision-making authority, paired with the support, tools, and infrastructure of an established restaurant group. The Operating Manager operates with the mindset of an owner, driving the business forward through people leadership, operational excellence, and financial performance. You will have meaningful autonomy to shape the operation, build and lead your team, and grow the business—while being fully supported by centralized HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales/Private Dining, and Operations teams. This role includes a unique, performance-based bonus program with the potential to earn up to 50% of base salary, directly tied to the success of the business you operate. For leaders who aspire to one day own a restaurant, this role provides hands-on experience that closely mirrors the realities of ownership, without the capital risk or administrative burden of doing everything yourself.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of restaurant leadership experience
  • Proven track record of running operations with high autonomy and meeting financial targets.
  • Strong business acumen, decision-making skills, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and people-development abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.
  • Drive profitability through effective labor management, cost control, and strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze P&Ls, develop action plans, and lead the team in meeting revenue and profit goals.
  • Forecast needs and manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members.
  • Create a positive culture that promotes accountability, growth, and empowerment.
  • Lead by example through hands-on coaching, mentorship, and proactive leadership.
  • Maintain a warm, memorable, and hospitality-driven atmosphere for every guest.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to elevate the experience.
  • Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution to guest concerns.
  • Partner with Director of Operations and HRBP on strategic planning, local marketing, and community engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and new revenue channels.
  • Uphold and champion the brand’s mission, values, and standards.
