About The Position

Panera Bread is seeking talented restaurant leaders to join their team. Our Restaurant Managers serve quality food, connect with guests, and enjoy a flexible schedule that allows for work/life balance. Panera Bread offers a perfect blend for those who love the hustle of food service but not the late nights, focusing on fresh flavors, friendly faces, and affordable bites. We have 54 Panera cafes throughout Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester county and the Hudson Valley.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Restaurant Manager (fast casual &/or full-service, high-volume restaurants preferred)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
  • A Passion for the food service industry and MUST be a People First Person.
  • Flexibility to commute up to 25-30 miles each way to/from work location
  • Authorization to work in the USA

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of our daily restaurant business, such as delivering a high-quality menu and motivating our staff to provide excellent guest service.
  • Maintain the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals, ensuring efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintaining high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Create a friendly atmosphere for our guests to meet friends, celebrate special occasions, or complete an important work project while enjoying a meal in a bakery-cafe.
  • Invest in and develop our cafe teams to help them execute flawless service and create memorable experiences.
