About The Position

IHOP is seeking a hungry, humble, and smart individual for a full-time Restaurant Manager position. This role involves overseeing the entire operation during scheduled shifts, making daily decisions, providing consistent support to staff, and ensuring positive and consistent guest interactions. Key responsibilities include upholding standards, maintaining excellent product quality, and ensuring high levels of cleanliness and sanitation. The manager will provide employees with consistent and appropriate feedback for development, ensure adherence to uniform standards, and perform line checks in the galley. Staffing the unit appropriately through interviewing, hiring, and training hourly candidates, and conducting orientations are also crucial. The role requires preparing various end-of-shift reports (Daily Sales Reports, Daily Cash Interims, Daily Labor controls, etc.) to ensure control of company assets. Additionally, the manager will prepare food production checklists, ensure proper implementation of company recipes, and order necessary products. Identifying operational opportunities and implementing plans to address them, approving food or beverage discounts, and prioritizing the safety and security of employees and guests are also key duties.
