About The Position

The Restaurant Host is responsible for providing quick and friendly service to all customers, greeting guests, seating them in the restaurant, and managing reservations using the company's reservation system. This role also involves maintaining cleanliness of restaurant areas, handling customer concerns, performing side work, and stocking supplies. Team members are expected to adhere to attendance guidelines, company policies, and work collaboratively as part of a team. A professional appearance and the ability to communicate effectively in English are required. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, holidays, and potential overtime. All team members are expected to follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which emphasizes proactive guest and team member interaction, and participate in mandatory meetings and pre-shift sessions.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quick and friendly service to all customers.
  • Greet customers and seat guests.
  • Make reservations for guests using the reservation system.
  • Check guests in using the computer system.
  • Clean restaurant areas as needed, including counter tops, sinks, display shelves, tables, storage areas, and lounge areas.
  • Handle and solve customer concerns and questions.
  • Perform all side work, such as stocking the bus station and rolling silverware.
  • Stock supplies at the assigned station.
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Work as a team with co-workers.
  • Present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Comply with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Work a varied schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
