About The Position

The Restaurant Host is responsible for providing quick and friendly service to all customers. This role involves greeting customers, seating guests, managing reservations through the Aarow reservation system, and checking guests in using the computer system. The host will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various restaurant areas, handling customer concerns and questions, and performing side work such as stocking and rolling silverware. Adherence to attendance guidelines, company policies, and a professional appearance are essential. The ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and communicate effectively in English is required. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, holidays, and potential overtime. All team members are expected to follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which emphasizes proactive guest and team member interaction, and participate in mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and seat guests in Aarow.
  • Make reservations for guests using the Aarow reservation system.
  • Check guests in using the computer system.
  • Clean restaurant areas as needed, including counter tops, sinks, display shelves, tables, storage areas, and lounge areas at the assigned station.
  • Handle and solve any concerns and questions customers may have.
  • Perform all side work (stocking bus station and rolling silverware) and stocking of supplies at the assigned station.
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Comply with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Work a varied schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
