About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure a smooth flow of operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patrons, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to enhance the dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to minimize wait times
• Provide menus and answer initial questions about the restaurant and menu items
• Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly and courteously
• Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed to support team operations
