About The Position

The Part-Time AM Restaurant Host is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for guests during breakfast and morning service. As the first and last point of contact in the restaurant, this role sets the tone for exceptional hospitality through thoughtful service, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Requirements

Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional guest service
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to frequently move throughout the restaurant during shifts
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
Basic computer and point-of-sale system knowledge preferred

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
Luxury, lifestyle, or boutique hotel experience is a plus
Professional, polished, and approachable personality
Strong communication and guest engagement skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor
Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently
Escort guests to tables and provide menus while maintaining strong knowledge of restaurant offerings
Maintain consistent communication with servers and culinary teams to ensure smooth restaurant flow
Answer guest questions regarding menus, hotel amenities, and local recommendations
Monitor dining room activity and adjust seating to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and dining areas
Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as assigned
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally while escalating issues when appropriate
Support restaurant operations and team members as needed
