As an AM Restaurant Host at Yolan, you will serve as the first and lasting impression of the restaurant experience, creating a warm, refined, and welcoming environment for every guest. Requirements

  • Previous host, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred, particularly in an upscale or luxury environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an approachable and polished presence
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced dining environment
  • Passion for creating memorable guest experiences through thoughtful hospitality
  • Comfortable using reservation and point-of-sale systems
  • Flexible schedule availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the restaurant as needed

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a warm, polished, and professional demeanor upon arrival
  • Manage reservations, seating flow, and waitlists to ensure efficient and seamless service operations
  • Escort guests to tables while providing a gracious and personalized arrival experience
  • Maintain a strong understanding of restaurant operations, seating charts, and guest preferences
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, culinary teams, and leadership to coordinate guest experiences
  • Answer guest questions regarding menus, dining experiences, restaurant offerings, and hotel amenities
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively assist with special requests or accommodations
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards of the host stand and lobby areas
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism, urgency, and hospitality-focused solutions
  • Assist with opening, closing, and administrative host stand responsibilities as assigned
  • Uphold all service, safety, sanitation, and appearance standards
