Requirements

Previous host, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred, particularly in an upscale or luxury environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an approachable and polished presence
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced dining environment
Passion for creating memorable guest experiences through thoughtful hospitality
Comfortable using reservation and point-of-sale systems
Flexible schedule availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays
Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the restaurant as needed

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a warm, polished, and professional demeanor upon arrival
Manage reservations, seating flow, and waitlists to ensure efficient and seamless service operations
Escort guests to tables while providing a gracious and personalized arrival experience
Maintain a strong understanding of restaurant operations, seating charts, and guest preferences
Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, culinary teams, and leadership to coordinate guest experiences
Answer guest questions regarding menus, dining experiences, restaurant offerings, and hotel amenities
Anticipate guest needs and proactively assist with special requests or accommodations
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards of the host stand and lobby areas
Handle guest concerns with professionalism, urgency, and hospitality-focused solutions
Assist with opening, closing, and administrative host stand responsibilities as assigned
Uphold all service, safety, sanitation, and appearance standards
