About The Position
The Restaurant Host at Marketplace Café greets and seats customers promptly and professionally, shares knowledge and enthusiasm about the menu and products, and helps provide outstanding customer service. The host may assist with training new employees and support other restaurant areas as requested, including answering telephones, completing financial transactions, stock work, cleanup, and documentation. Hours and schedule vary by week based on business needs.
Requirements
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.

- One or more years of food service or hospitality experience.
