About The Position
Marc Jacobs International is seeking a Temporary Keyholder for its Scottsdale Fashion Square location in Scottsdale, Arizona. This temporary position is initially planned for one month after the start date, with the possibility of extension or ending at any time according to business needs. The Keyholder supports the store’s daily operations and security by managing opening and closing procedures, protecting the premises and merchandise, handling cash, and providing leadership support when managers are unavailable. The role also contributes to sales and customer service by delivering an elevated client experience, building client relationships, and supporting individual and store commercial goals. Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a retail setting.
- Reliability, dependability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Flexibility to work retail schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal abilities.
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to resolve issues and de-escalate situations calmly.
- Confidence handling cash transactions, preparing deposits, and ensuring register accuracy.
- Ability to manage tasks, maintain cleanliness, and support operational efficiency.
- Ability to identify problems and find solutions quickly.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer literacy.
- Meticulousness in financial tasks and security procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate product knowledge to assist customers and drive sales.
Responsibilities
- De-escalate conflicts and work to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Achieve or exceed individual and store sales goals and other commercial KPIs.
- Keep the store guest-ready and create a welcoming environment for clients.
- Build sales by demonstrating styling expertise, knowledge of seasonal trends, and product knowledge.
- Apply the stages of the client journey and behaviors that create an elevated experience and encourage repeat business.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Marc Jacobs products, brand DNA, and brand pillars.
- Capture client data and cultivate new and existing client relationships.
- Initiate regular client contact and promptly follow up on sales, events, and client inquiries.
- Foster collaboration and open communication with colleagues and management, and seek and receive feedback.
- Keep the sales floor and stockroom organized; support stockroom maintenance and organization.
- Execute store opening and closing duties.
- Maintain the physical security of the establishment and protect valuable assets.
- Provide leadership support and help run the store when managers are unavailable.
- Process sales transactions accurately and manage cash-handling procedures.
- Prepare bank deposits and reconcile cash registers at the end of the day.
