About The Position

The Restaurant Host at Bar Verde’s NYC Flagship greets and seats customers promptly and professionally, and shares knowledge and enthusiasm about the restaurant’s menu and products. The role also assists with new employee training by reinforcing successful performance and providing help as needed. Hosts may support other areas of the restaurant, including answering telephones, completing financial transactions, stock work, cleanup, and documentation. Hours and schedules vary by week according to business needs.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.

• Food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of food service or hospitality experience (preferred).

Responsibilities
