About The Position

The Restaurant General Manager leads the operations and business performance of The Committee Chophouse and The Cottonwood Room at The Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha’s Blackstone District. The role oversees two distinct dining and lounge experiences, setting service standards, developing talent, and ensuring that operational details meet guest expectations. The position calls for a hospitality-driven leader who can build strong teams, create memorable guest experiences, and manage a successful restaurant and lounge operation.

Requirements

Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience in an upscale or fine dining environment.
Strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations, including service standards, beverage programs, and financial performance.
Experience leading, developing, and motivating teams while maintaining high expectations and accountability.
Ability to manage budgets, labor, inventory, cost controls, and profitability.
Passion for food, beverage, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to balance strategic planning with a hands-on leadership approach.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service requirements.

Responsibilities
