About The Position

As the General Manager at a Marco’s Pizza operated by Hoogland Restaurant Group, you will lead and develop people to deliver outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales, and control restaurant costs. You will help create a culture that attracts, retains, and develops employees while ensuring the restaurant meets operational standards and achieves its business goals. Hoogland Restaurant Group is the largest Marco’s Pizza franchise owner in the United States, with over 100 locations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members.
• Willingness to work about 50 hours per week, including some Saturdays and Sundays.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco’s leadership behaviors and values.
• Create an environment that promotes the company culture and philosophies to attract, retain, and develop employees.
• Source and interview store employees, ensuring they embrace company values and customer satisfaction.
• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures.
• Ensure human resources processes are followed, including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews, and requested reporting to the home office.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with the Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.
• Maintain standards for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Maintain appropriate inventory par levels and ordering systems; complete weekly and end-of-period inventory.
• Complete inventory reporting and ensure inventory par levels and ordering systems are in place.
• Create store action plans, including marketing, to continuously improve the business.
• Track weekly KPIs and develop plans to achieve goals.
• Maintain the store and the exterior of the property.
• Follow security and verification procedures when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
• Lead up to 20 team members.
