About The Position

Wonder is hiring a Restaurant Crew Member to prepare food and create a welcoming experience for guests. Team Members bring menus from Michelin-starred and celebrity chefs to life while working across multiple roles in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The position is based in North Bethesda and is available full-time or part-time, with a base pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Overnight hours worked between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM receive an additional $2.00 per hour. Eligible Certified Team Members can earn an additional $0.50 per hour, and Trainers can earn an additional $1.50 per hour. The role includes preparing menu items, maintaining clean and organized work areas, following food-safety procedures, managing inventory and order accuracy, and assisting guests with orders, pickups, payments, and the Wonder app. Team Members also support meal-kit and delivery operations, participate in light local marketing, maintain restaurant cleanliness, and help teammates as needed. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience in a fast-paced kitchen or customer-facing role.
Ability to work quickly and accurately with strong attention to detail.
Solid organizational skills, clear verbal communication, and ability to follow directions.
Team-oriented approach and basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for a full shift while working.
Weekend availability.
Food Handler Certification, or willingness to obtain it if required by state, county, or local health departments.

Responsibilities

Prepare menu items to Wonder standards while keeping stations clean, stocked, and organized.
Follow HACCP and food-safety guidelines, including proper food temperatures and storage.
Manage inventory scans, pack accurate portions, and verify orders before they go out.
Greet guests and assist with orders, pickups, payments, and the Wonder app.
Share information about Wonder concepts and support meal-kit and delivery operations.
Ensure dispatch accuracy and participate in light local marketing activities, such as handing out flyers and street engagement.
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
Wash, clean, and restock cookware, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift.
Manage trash and recycling properly and report equipment issues promptly.
Support teammates, help where needed, and contribute to a positive, high-energy team environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
