About The Position

Friendship is seeking a Restaurant Associate to join the Friendship Bistro ’66 team in Roanoke, Virginia. The Restaurant Associate is responsible for the overall guest experience at the restaurant. The position pays $15.00 per hour. Full-time shifts are eight hours, vary, and take place between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.; the schedule includes every other weekend.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Maintain cleanliness and follow applicable policies, procedures, and food safety guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Six months of food service experience preferred.
Food service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet restaurant guests, guide them to a table or seat, and provide a menu.
Take customer orders and serve and clear food and beverages.
Check on guests throughout their meals and address any issues that arise.
Prepare meal checks and process payments.
Clean tables after guests leave and clean serving equipment throughout service and at the end of each shift.
Refill table items as needed.
Maintain the work area, equipment, food, and personal cleanliness in accordance with policies, procedures, and food safety guidelines.
