About The Position

Friendship is hiring a Restaurant Associate for the Friendship Bistro ’66 team in Roanoke, Virginia. The Restaurant Associate is responsible for the overall experience at the restaurant. The position pays $15.00 per hour. Full-time shifts include every other weekend, vary, and are eight hours long between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Six months of food service experience is preferred; food service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet restaurant guests, guide them to a table or seat, and provide a menu.
Take customer orders; serve and clear food and beverages.
Check on guests throughout their meal and address any issues that arise.
Prepare the meal check and process payment.
Clean tables after guests leave and clean serving equipment during service and at the end of each shift.
Refill table items as needed.
Maintain the work area, equipment, food, and personal cleanliness in accordance with policies, procedures, and food safety guidelines.
