About The Position

The Restaurant Assistant General Manager partners with the Restaurant Managing Partner to ensure seamless day-to-day restaurant operations and uphold a commitment to excellence. As a brand ambassador and second in charge, this role maintains company standards, oversees cost centers, and helps create memorable experiences for guests and team members. The Assistant General Manager champions the restaurant’s culture, supports continuous improvement, and embraces the “better for being here” mentality. The role is based in a high-volume, full-service restaurant with a laid-back atmosphere and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• At least 2 years of management experience.
• Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and exceptional leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team dedicated to execution, hospitality, and service.
• Strong profit-and-loss knowledge.
• Ability to obtain certifications or permits required by state or local law.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of local and state health codes.
• Experience with Workday, Aloha, NBO, and Hot Schedules.
• Experience managing a team.
