About The Position

The Restaurant Assistant General Manager partners with the Restaurant Managing Partner to ensure seamless day-to-day restaurant operations and uphold company standards. Serving as a brand ambassador and second in charge, this role oversees cost centers and helps create memorable experiences for guests and team members. The Assistant General Manager champions the team culture and continuous improvement while embracing Red Robin’s “better for being here” mentality. Red Robin describes itself as a high-volume, full-service restaurant with a laid-back atmosphere and growth opportunities. The role requires open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The restaurant is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
At least 2 years of management experience.
Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable transportation.
Strong communication and exceptional leadership skills.
Ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team dedicated to execution, hospitality, and service.
Strong profit-and-loss (P&L) knowledge.
Ability to obtain certifications and permits required by state or local law.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of local and state health codes.
Experience with Workday, Aloha, NBO, and Hot Schedules.
Experience managing a team.
