About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a casual Response Security Officer for a special response/flex role in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Duties and assignments vary by day and special event, requiring the officer to adapt between customer service, patrols, surveillance, and other security needs. The position is full-time and requires availability for all hours, including overnights, in an on-call capacity. The hourly wage is $21.65. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
• Be available to work overtime and holidays.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa security license; GardaWorld will help obtain it.
